"The purpose of photography is to communicate and document moments in time. When you take a photograph and share it with others, you're showing a moment that was frozen through a picture. This moment can tell someone many things, from the environment to what people are doing. And this is a great idea to remember your emotions again."

Depending on the month you’re getting married, I’m often booked a year or two in advance. I limit the number of weddings that I take on each year to assure that I’ll have ample time to focus on each one individually, so it’s worth reaching out sooner than later to reserve your date. It’s also worth mentioning that September is, by far, my busiest month so don’t delay if you’ve chosen a September date! It’s always best to complete your booking as soon as you’re sure I’m the photographer for you. A signed contract and a retainer are due to reserve your date.
No matter the day of the week or month of the year, all weddings are the same amount of work and are therefore all charged at the same price.
Typically I’ll spend 5 to 10 minutes with couples during the first 15 minutes of their drinks reception. My portraits are simply a bi-product of a nice walk in a pretty environment. I don’t pose couples. Instead, I want these portraits to blend seamlessly with the natural coverage. You can see examples of the sort of couple portraits I look to create in my portfolio. During the summer months, I may also take couples for a little walk later in the day during the golden hour, that magical light shortly before sunset.
Believe me, even I feel awkward in front of a camera sometimes! My guess is that you do not have professional modeling experience on your resume, and you certainly don’t need to in order to have great photos taken. I don’t like to use the word “posing” because often what comes to mind is those third-grade photos with your palms framing your face as you grin up at the camera.
The images in your gallery will be edited to improve lighting, contrast, sharpness, and color — all of which is a standard process for digital photographers. Therefore, I do not provide the unedited RAW images.
You can start by filling out this contact form to provide details including your wedding or event date, location, and telling me a bit about what you are looking for! I’ll follow up to send you wedding package options and schedule a time to chat — on a call, FaceTime, or over a drink — so you have the opportunity to ask any questions and so I can get to know the two of you a little bit more!
I always photograph everything in colour and regularly provide couples with a full-colour gallery to site alongside their black and white and colour collection. With a typical collection of images, I tend to convert around 50-60% to black and white during the later stages of post-production. Just let me know your preferences upon booking or get in touch if you have questions about my processing or would like to see more work.
For a 3-hour engagement session we typically deliver 50-70 images and for a wedding , we typically deliver 60-80 images per hour of coverage. Keep in mind these numbers may increase or decrease depending on the flow of the day and the number of events/activities needing to be captured.
